A project developed thanks to the work of green teacher magazine (Canada).
The PROFESORES VERDES Project is an initiative of Vita XXI, Murcia (Spain); and other organizations and initial collaborators, with the support of Green Teacher Magazine (Quebec, Canada). It aims to give continuity to the access to Green Teacher's publication in Spanish, "Profesores verdes" and offer an online didactic resource for teaching in and out of the classroom from the initial and primary levels, through secondary and high school, and even for vocational training subjects (vocational) or academic (early childhood and primary education degrees). We are currently working on its launching (January 2025).
The objectives of this project are :
- 1. To provide teachers at all educational levels with access to educational resources relevant to environmental education.
- 2. To give continuity to the educational and dissemination work initiated by Green teacher Magazine.
- 3. Seek institutional synergies to expand the network of green professors in Ibero-America.
- 4. To achieve self-financing that allows open access to available resources for all Spanish-speaking teachers interested in nature education.
- 5. Initiate a virtual educational platform to support teacher training and collaborative work in open and global education.

Some of the actions carried out and in progress are as follows:
-
The signing of an agreement with Green teacher magazine (Canada). December 2024. -
The signing of an agreement with the University of Murcia to offer internships to translators from the School of Letters. October 2024 -
